6th District runoff: Where to vote early in DeKalb County

Voters can cast their ballots before Election Day at five DeKalb County locations in the congressional race between Jon Ossoff and Karen Handel.

Starting May 30, residents can vote in Brookhaven, Chamblee, Dunwoody Tucker or central DeKalb for the 6th Congressional District runoff. 

Early voting increases opportunities for voters participate in the highly anticipated congressional race before Election Day on June 20. 

Election officials in DeKalb expanded early voting for the runoff, adding three sites after two locations were open in advance of the April 18 special election.

Saturday voting will also be available at all five locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 10. 

Voting hours during weekdays are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Early voting concludes June 16. Only voters who live in the 6th Congressional District, which covers north DeKalb, are eligible to participate in the election.

On Election Day, all eligible voters must go to their assigned precincts.

UPDATED May 22: The Dunwoody early voting site was moved to Dunwoody Methodist Church so that early voting can begin May 30 and last three weeks, the same as the other four early voting sites in DeKalb County. The Dunwoody Library was only available for one week of early voting.
