Whitewater students bring home medals form DECA International meet

Two students at Whitewater High School brought home one gold and four silver medals from the DECA International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, Calif., with over 19,000 students competing from around the world. Dymond Moore earned four medals: a gold for finishing in the top 10 for Apparel and Accessories Marketing, overall; and silvers for finishing in the top 20 for Apparel and Accessories Marketing; for having one of the top 10 scores for the Apparel and Accessories Marketing Role Play, and for having one of the top 10 scores on the Apparel and Accessories Marketing Exam. Megan Brubaker earned a silver medal for having one of the top 10 scores on the Professional Selling Exam. Dymond and Megan are among six students from Georgia who finished in the top 10 in exams. Dymond is one of 19 students from Georgia who is a top 10 finalist. Georgia had 770 students and advisers at the conference.
