Power has been restored to all Decatur schools.

The district announced Thursday that its remaining holdouts -- College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center and Westchester Elementary School -- now have electricity.

Power also is back in modular classrooms at a third site, a district spokeswoman said at 5:18 p.m. Thursday.

Most Decatur students returned to school Thursday, but the district had to modify operations because of the outages caused by Tropical Storm Irma.

College Heights was unable to open Thursday, but will reopen Friday.

Superintendent David Dude announced the news about the power restoration on his Facebook page with a clip of a dancing Kevin Bacon.
