Forsyth County’s school system plans to be open for classes Tuesday after students had the day off Monday.
District officials said on its website that it plans to have a normal school day and would alert students and parents by 7 p.m. Monday if there are any changes.
Forsyth officials decided to cancel classes Monday, citing concerns about school buses traveling on some roads in the county that had patches of ice.
