‘Project Mah Jongg’ exhibit
Through Sept. 15. The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum, 1440 Spring St., Atlanta. Entrance to the museum and the free parking lot are on 18th Street. Admission: $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, $6 for students with ID, $4 for children ages 3-6, and free for children under 3. www.thebreman.org/.
- During the summer on Sundays, through Aug. 11, the Breman will have board games available for families to play.
- Want to learn mahjong? From 1-5 p.m. July 23, the Breman will offer a crash course in mahjong with coach Michele Frizzell. The boot camp is a four-hour class designed to give students the ability to play after just one lesson. Class is limited to eight students. More classes might be added. Reservation required. $36 for members, $50 for nonmembers.
- Eat, Play, Mahj. Mah Jongg Open Game Day and special tour will be held from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 14. Prizes and food will be provided. Entry fee: $36 for members, $50 for nonmembers. Reservation required.
Bring your mahjong group for a tour of the exhibition and then play mahjong in a private room at the museum. Lunch or snacks provided for a fee. Contact the Breman to set up a reservation.
