Now in its 12th year, Taste of Atlanta has become a perennial favorite fall food event. More than 90 metro Atlanta restaurants will offer samples at Tech Square on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27, including Fox Bros., King + Duke, Lure, the Optimist, Seed Kitchen and Bar, the Spence and Watershed.

Food and drink experiences on the schedule this year:
1:15 p.m. Oct. 26 — “Kitchen Ink” with chef Joe Shafer of King + Duke and mixologist Arianne Fielder of Article 14, who show off their culinary body art, and give a taste of their cooking and bartending skills.
2:30 p.m. Oct. 26 — “Great Grains” with chef Steven Satterfield of Miller Union, plus Dr. Arvin Singh and dietitian Meagan Moyer of Emory Healthcare teaming up to taste and talk about ancient grains, such as quinoa, farro and spelt.
3 p.m. Oct. 27 — “Kale and Ale” with chef Drew van Leuvan of Seven Lamps and chef Terry Koval of Wrecking Bar Brewpub, who celebrate the super veggie of the moment and show why kale and beer are a classic pairing.
4 p.m. Oct. 27 — “G-Free Goodies” with chef Shaun Doty of Bantam + Biddy and Jennifer Harris of Examiner.com on getting friendly with gluten-free cooking and tasty takes on your favorite dishes.
