Double Zero, a contemporary southern Italian restaurant, serves Neapolitan pizzas, fresh pastas, seafood and a variety of antipasti. The pizzas are made with a yeast starter brought in from Naples, 00 Italian flour and DOP San Marzano tomatoes. Rumi’s Kitchen remains in the Sandy Springs area, having moved just a few doors down Roswell Road from its former location. After a visit to the new location, AJC food columnist John Kessler wrote that the move prompted a “trailblazing new rendition” of this Persian restaurant. Menu highlights include a chicken kebab marinated in a lemon-saffron sauce and a lamb neck stew in an herbed potato broth.
