Georgia foods featured
Mantry, a food-of-the-month club featuring artisan foods from around the country, featured six Georgia products curated by chef Hugh Acheson in March. Subscriptions to Mantry (Modern Man’s Pantry) cost $75 per month and come with recipes for using the products. I’d say this isn’t just for the modern man.
A few weeks ago, Modern Restaurant and Bar posted a sign on the door stating that it was temporarily closed due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The restaurant’s voice mail says that it is working on “improvements to our menu, staff and service.” The exact cause for the closure remains unconfirmed, but all signs point toward a drastic reorganization within the still-new restaurant.
