Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left a 15-year-old dead in East Point.
Alan Molina was shot Sunday at a home in the 2900 block of Pearl Street, Channel 2 Action News reported.

When officers got to the scene about 1:11 p.m., they found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound, Detective Ebony Johnson said in a statement. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have one person in custody in connection to the shooting, Johnson said.
The name of that person has not been released.
