Cobb County police have arrested two men in connection with the shooting death of an Atlanta man at a hotel in Marietta on Wednesday night.

Fredrick Hodge, 23, and Joseph Cory McCoy, 26, are accused of killing Demetrius Towns at the Masters Inn on Windy Hill Road, police said Thursday.

After responding to multiple 911 calls from the hotel, police found Towns, 32, in a second-floor breezeway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Hodge and McCoy, both of Marietta, are charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. They are being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
