A Lyft driver found a woman shot multiple times and left partially nude Thursday on a southeast Atlanta street, police said.

Officers responded to a report of gunshots on Grant Street about 5:15 a.m.

“When they arrived they found a female lying in the street partially nude,” Atlanta police Capt. Cliff Johnson said. “She was shot multiple times.”

Officers learned she had earlier gotten in a green car with a man on Fulton industrial Boulevard.

The woman, 54, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was in stable condition early Thursday.
