Police said Wednesday they need help identifying two men who carjacked and choked a woman at a south Fulton County gas station.

About 11:15 p.m. Sunday, two men approached the owner of a blue 2013 Ford Focus at the Shell gas station at 3580 Cascade Road and asked for change, Fulton police Detective S.E. Webb said. One man rushed the victim from behind and choked her until she fell to the ground, Webb said.

The men took the woman’s car keys and phone, and drove away in the Focus, Webb said.

Police released video of part of the incident.

Car thefts and carjackings at south Fulton gas stations grabbed headlines after vehicles belonging to rapper and actress Queen Latifah and retired Fulton Superior Court Judge Marvin Arrington Sr. were taken in recent weeks. No arrests have been made in either case.

Anyone with information about Sunday’s carjacking can contact police at 404-613-4747, Webb said.

Also, tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org.
