No foul play suspected in 2 deaths at Buckhead apartment

Two people were found dead Thursday at a Buckhead apartment complex, Atlanta police said.

They were found on two different floors, one on the sixth floor and one on the 12th floor of The Darlington, which is located at 2025 Peachtree Road.

Police responded to a call about a woman found dead, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Carbon monoxide gas released from a space heater may have killed that woman, police said.

While investigating the woman’s death, officers smelled an odor that led them to a second body.

That body had been decomposing for a while.

Foul play is not suspected, police said.
