5 pet-friendly apartment complexes around Cobb

Cobb County is a great place to live right now. Not only is Cobb on the list of Georgia's best suburbs, it was named the best place to live in the state. If you don't want to live in the best suburbs for homebuyers in Cobb County but still need room for your whole family (furry members and all), we rounded up some of the nicer apartment complexes that allow pets.

The Residence at Vinings Mountain

This complex feels peaceful and secluded and is still close to everything the city has to offer. The Residence at Vinings offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with many floors plans to choose from. The amenities include a wine room, putting green and screening room.

Cats and dogs are welcome, of course. There is even a dog park for your furry family members. Prices range based on pet and amount. More details on the pet policy can be found online or by calling the office.

The Belmont Place Apartments

Belmont Place is a luxurious community with a distinct upscale feel. There are six different apartment styles to choose from. They include features such as 14-foot ceilings, custom trim and crown work, hardwood floors and private balconies.

Pets are allowed with restrictions. There is a $400 non-refundable fee per cat, a $500 non-refundable fee per dog and a $25 monthly pet charge per pet. While Belmont encourages pets, breed restrictions apply and only two pets are allowed per unit.

Rockledge Atlanta

Rockledge is the perfect balance of nature and city. It sits on the Chattahoochee National Preserve and the Chattahoochee River runs just past the property line. However, residents are still close to everything downtown has to offer.

Pets will enjoy the surroundings of Rockledge within certain stipulations. Rockledge enforces leash rules and says pets should never be left unattended. There are no aggressive breeds allowed and all pets must have current vaccination records. The maximum pets allowed are two. The non-refundable pet fee is $400 for the first and $200 non-refundable for the second. Pet rent is $10 per month per pet.

The Reserve at the Ballpark

The Reserve is contemporary, elegant and the perfect home for any modern professional who loves baseball. Located within walking distance of Suntrust Park this green community impresses its residents. Interior features include European- and shaker-style cabinets, quartz countertops, subway style backsplash, designer plank flooring and stainless steel appliances. Some community amenities include an outdoor serving kitchen, a 24-hour fitness center with high-end cardio equipment, saltwater swimming pool with sunning ledge, rooftop entertainment lounge, and resident lounge featuring billiard table and fireplace.

Cats and dogs are both allowed at this community but no aggressive breeds are permitted. There is a $250 deposit, a $250 fee and $10 monthly pet rent. There is also 60-pound weight limit and a maximum of two pets per unit.

Sterling Vinings Apartments

Sterling Vinings caters to its furry friends as much as its renters. This beautiful community offers a playful dog park and designated pet waste stations located throughout the grounds. There are several nearby pet stores as well.

The fee is $300 for one pet, $350 for two pets and $10 per pet per month. There is a maximum of two pets allowed per apartment and a 50-pound weight max per pet. Certain breeds are restricted, such as pit bull, doberman pincher, rottweiler, chow chow, Staffordshire terrier and bull mastif.
