Fourth of July is right around the corner.

It's only been about four years since the pyrotechnic aficionados in Atlanta could find their roman candles, bottle rockets and sparklers right here in city limits.

Now, that it’s legal, it’s time to set the sky ablaze, Atlanta.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to purchase your fireworks arsenal, search no further.

Here are 13 places to buy fireworks in Atlanta:

Even though there are now hundreds of places to purchase fireworks, there are still a few things to keep in mind:

  • Those purchasing fireworks must be 18 years of age or older. Those buying fireworks will pay an extra 5 percent excise tax at the register, in addition to regular state and local sales taxes.
  • Fireworks enthusiasts are not allowed to set them off within 100 yards of a nuclear power plant or gasoline station and are liable for any damage they cause.
