Create Your Cupcake

203 Hilderbrand Drive, Sandy Springs. 844-354-7487. createyourcupcake.com.

Create Your Cupcake, located in Sandy Springs, is owned by Barbara Sherwin Hart, who has celiac disease and struggled with finding gluten-free treats from bakeries. As a result, Create your Cupcake has gluten-free options available for all its cupcakes. A separate bakery facility with its own ventilation system is used to ensure that flours with gluten don't contaminate gluten-free products. All ingredients, pans and utensils used on gluten-free cupcakes are also stored separately.

As the name implies, you can create your own cupcake by choosing the flavor, fillings, frostings and embellishments you'd like. With all the choices available, you'll have more than 2,500 combinations. Create a gluten-free red velvet, chocolate, banana, carrot or vanilla cupcake, and treat yourself to a completely different flavor next week.

Gluten Free Cutie

45 Park Square Court, Roswell. 770-518-7858, glutenfreecutie.com.

Gluten Free Cutie in Roswell bakes products that are free of gluten, dyes, eggs, soy and peanuts.

Gluten-free cupcakes come in a wide variety of decadent variations, including The Devil Went Down to Georgia, a chocolate-lover's dream come true with chocolate cake and ganache and a chocolate faux buttercream frosting. Or try Nonnie's Cinna-Yummy, made with vanilla bean cake, layers of cinnamon and sugar and faux buttercream.

Marilyn's Gluten Free Gourmet

1007 Mansell Road, Suite D, Roswell. 770-587-5874, marilynsglutenfree.com.

You may have seen some of Marilyn's products, such as crackers and muffins, at Kroger and Whole Foods, but the company also has a small shop in its American Gra-Frutti bakery in Roswell.

The store always has samples available, so after you've tried some new offerings, pick up a four-pack of chocolate, chocolate chip, vanilla or carrot cupcakes.

Sally's Gluten Free Bakery

Alpharetta, Sandy Springs locations. sallysglutenfreebakery.com.

Sally's Gluten Free Bakery is owned by siblings Sally Chasteen and Taylor Owings, siblings who went gluten-free after their mother's chronic joint pain was eliminated by this type of diet. They started with a Sandy Springs location and have since opened an additional bakery in Alpharetta.

Try chocolate, vanilla or red velvet cupcakes with your choice of chocolate or vanilla icing.

2B Whole

42 Milton Ave., Alpharetta. 470-395-5248. 2bwhole.net.
