He’s one of the godfathers of rap, now Snoop Dogg is looking to make a name in gospel music.

Snoop Dogg will release “Bible of Love” on March 16 through his All the Time Entertainment,  in association with RCA Inspiration.

No, you’re not smoking too much.

“ Bible of Love”  is the 16th album and first gospel project from the award-winning artist and actor whose career spans more than 25 years.

The double disc, 32-track collection is a big departure for Snoop Dogg, who is also known for his affinity for weed. Listeners beware, on his “Words are Few” with B Slade, he does use the B-word.

He recently performed during BET’s 19th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration.

Jesus, take the wheel.

Here are some of the lyrics:

When my words are few

Things ain't what they seem

Feeling like I'm fooling me

I know god is calling me

I'm not where I'm supposed to be

Sitting here smoking trees

When I should be on my knees

When my words are few

Snoop credits his late grandmother, Dorothy Tate, with introducing him to gospel music.

“I am blessed to have so many legendary friends join me on this journey,” he said in a release. “ As the country is in one of its heaviest times and is so divided, I wanted to make an album that spreads love and unity around the world. That’s what I was taught, so that’s all I know. Real love.”

“Bible of Love”, which is available for pre-order now, features Snoop and individual performances from artists such as  Rance Allen, The Clark Sisters and Tye Tribbett.
