We went to brunch at 9 Mile Station at the top of Ponce City Market. While the Sticky Bun with Coffee Butter was pretty awesome, we know we’d never try to make it at home. Much more our speed would be making one of their brunch cocktails like the Trolley Car Spritz. Possible the bar folks will share the recipe? Thanks. — Jonathan Carter, Decatur

Randy Hayden, bar manager at 9 Mile Station, was happy to share the recipe for this refreshing cocktail, just right for summer. It’s on the brunch menu only, but they are happy to make one for you at other times of the day. Just ask!

Hayden likes Ford’s Gin for this recipe because of its citrus botanicals, which go well with Aperon’s citrus and bitter qualities. We found our Ford’s gin at Capital City Package. It’s also available from Decatur Package Store, and Holeman & Finch Bottle Shop can order it for you.
