A friend and I recently went to the Ponce City Market for the first time. As a native Atlantan, with an aunt and uncle that had careers with Sears at that location and having memories of shopping there with my family, it was great being back in that building again. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Bellina Alimentari where I had their Lady Pea Salad. It was amazing and I’d love to be able to prepare it for family and friends. For those who grew up at a time when field peas were only served hot and cooked with pork, this recipe may come as a surprise. But lady peas, and other field peas, make a lovely cold salad as well.
