“Ghost the Musical”
Unchain the melodies and unplug the chords: This performance is all acoustic. Reimagined with music, the show tells the story of Sam and Molly, two lovers tragically torn apart. But, even in the afterlife, Sam finds a way to reach out to his beloved and help solve his own murder. The performance marks the beginning of Georgia Ensemble Theatre’s 24th season. This is the last weekend for the performance, so be sure not to miss it! (Note: Some adult content and language is included.)
8 p.m. Sept. 30, 4 and 8 p.m. Oct. 1, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 2. $25-$34. Georgia Ensemble Theatre, 950 Forrest St., Roswell. 770-641-1260, get.org.
October is here, so it’s time to kick autumn into full gear. What better way than to get some fresh fall air at the Gainesville location of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, where the season is being ushered in with the Woodland Ramble Arts and Crafts Market, featuring goods made by local artisans. Most of the works, many with nature themes, are perfect for home décor or holiday gifts. Relax in the woodlands, grab a bite from the food trucks, or sip a glass of wine while savoring the beginning of the cooler season.
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 1. Free with admission. Atlanta Botanical Garden in Gainesville, 1911 Sweetbay Drive, Gainesville. 404-888-4760, atlantabg.org.
