Festival goers had a wide array of libations to choose from, including 200 local and national craft, macrobrews and cider. For those who needed a break from the beer, the beer fest also offered up 75 wine selections and plenty of local fare from places like Cousins Maine Lobster, Dominic’s on the Bayou and Tom + Chee.

When the rain hit the park grounds, the party didn't stop. Attendees just poured into the air conditioned DJ tent and danced to the hits. A live collaboration band called Coast Guard also rocked the evening with songs from the 1970s and 1980s.

Mike DiLonardo, Atlanta Beer Fest Director of Operations, said he was impressed by the festival's turnout, nearly 4,000 people were in attendance on the rainy Saturday eve.

"We've got a lot of beer. Hopefully, they're thirsty," he said.

Audrey Vasina added tasting beer from the Terrapin tent on her festival to-do list. She said the rain didn't keep her from having a good time throughout the evening.

"It's been a lot of fun, a lot of people, a lot of beer selections," she said.
