Fellowship dinner: The annual "O Taste N See" dinner will feature an array of dishes prepared by the men of First Congregational Church. Past dishes included beef brisket, jerk chicken, Louisiana gumbo and vegetarian pasta. This year's menu is subject to change. Tickets, which can be purchased at the door the day of the event, are $15 for adults, $10 for students with ID and $5 for children 12 and younger. Open to all. 5-7 p.m. July 29. Afterschool program: Children in pre-K through fifth grade will snack, have time for homework, participate in counselor-led activities including swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, science and more during the Club J afterschool program. Registration is currently open for the 2017-2018 school year, which takes place from 2:306 p.m. weekdays Aug. 8-May 30, 2017. Parents can select afterschool packages appropriate for their needs.
