Taylor Swift to headline concert ahead of Super Bowl LI


Taylor Swift is headlining a big show before the 2017 Super Bowl.

The Grammy-winning pop singer is going to lead the AT&T DirecTV Super Saturday Night concert the night before Super Bowl LI, in Houston, according to a news release from AT&T.

The release said the Feb. 4 headlining event is part of a "multi-year, multi-faceted deal featuring performances and content (with Swift)."

Swift's performance at the concert is the first of these performances with AT&T.

More details on the deal will follow the announcement, according to AT&T.

"We're thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways," CEO of  AT&T Entertainment Group John Stankey said in a release. "We're excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor's fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world's biggest artists with one of the world's biggest sporting events."

The news of Swift's concert comes after Lady Gaga has been confirmed as the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show headliner.
