Read: Early coverage of the 1946 Monroe lynchings

The Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution (two different papers in 1946) did not directly cover the Moore's Ford Bridge lynchings in the days immediately after the event, although both papers did carry Associated Press reports of the incident. Included here are 1) A Journal clip from July 26; 2) A Constitution clip from July 27; and 3) two clips from the Journal from July 27. The "jumps" from the stories are not included.
