The on-demand grocery delivery service will begin delivering Aldi products to the doorsteps of customers in Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles later this month.

"Our partnership with Instacart is another example of ALDI expanding our commitment to customer convenience and value," said Jason Hart, CEO of ALDI in a statement . "We know customers are looking for new ways to save time and money. Instacart provides easy access to our low prices at the click of a button."

Customers can shop online at or from the Instacart App. At checkout, shoppers set a delivery window from an hour up to one week later. Instacart personal shoppers then fill the order.

Most of the products (90 percent) sold at ALDI are proprietary brands such as SimplyNature and LiveGFree Gluten-free food, that are designed to serve as an alternative to national name brands.

To celebrate the pilot program, which may expand to other cities at a later time, ALDI and Instacart are offering customers $20 off their first Instacart order with code ALDIDELIVERY until Sept. 30 (some terms and conditions apply.)
