The Braves apparently are going to make a concerted effort to reconnect with their fan base. That's not surprising considering the roster blowout of the last one and a half years and the Cobb County stadium deal has left many feeling less than enamored of the organization, especially after finishing 67-95 last season, the team's worst record in 25 years.
But seeking feedback from the public can be perilous. Especially on Twitter.
Just after 5 p.m. Wednesday night, the Braves' Twitter account sent out a Tweet announcing that general manager John Coppolella would answer questions at 3 p.m. Thursday. Fans were asked to use the hashtag #AskCoppy.
You know where this is going.
While, to this point, there have been some legitimate questions about the Braves' roster building strategy and the team's future, "Coppy" also has been under assault to some degree.
