Week 1 Baseball Rankings

The baseball season has started up heading into our first rankings of the year. In Class AAAAAAA, North Gwinnett slips past Parkview after a head-to-head victory this season. River Ridge edges out Class AAAAAA defending champion Pope for No. 1, and nationally ranked Loganville is on top of Class AAAAA looking for a repeat state title. Blessed Trinity is loaded in Class AAAA and already has a shutout win over Class AAAAAAA Walton.

Class AAA Redan is No. 1 and in the hunt for its second state title (first in 2013). In Class AA, Jeff Davis is another defending champion at No. 1 after several games, as is Savannah Christian in Class A-Private. The Class A-Public division has Charlton County on top, with defending champ Schley County No. 4 for now.
